Dr. Ashley Ha
General Practitioner
I was born in South Korea, then made New Zealand my home since 14 years of age. I completed my medical degree at University of Otago in 2011 and spent a few years in Dunedin and Christchurch Hospital in a variety of specialties including general medicine, gastroenterology, respiratory medicine, older person’s health, and psychiatry. I subsequently completed training in general practice and was awarded fellowship with Royal New Zealand College of General Practitioners in 2020. Whilst I enjoy all aspects of general practice, I have a particular knowledge and skills in Women’s health. I pursued and attained Postgraduate certificate in Women’s health. I regularly perform IUD and implant insertions, endometrial biopsies, and pessary management as well as women’s health consultations. I am happily married to my husband Louis and have two school aged children who keep me busy outside the work. I enjoy reading, watching movies and travelling in and out of New Zealand with my family.
